just a thort, what would have to go into it???

besides the motor, new zorst, brakes? geabox?

anything i might have missed???

You could also consider the SR16VE, almost just as much power!
Might be less stuffing around I'm not sure. Give Fours N More in Adelaide a call, they install mine.

the only difference between the SR20VE and the SR16VE would be the piston size. The block and everything else should be the same. Shouldnt really make a difference as far as a conversion goes, both would be the same.

Mr N20 put a SR20DE into an N14 1600.
He had a thread on what he did. You can search for the thread or maybe he will repost it here, if you ask.
The SR20VE has a different head, may be a bit bigger, but looks the same to me. Probably wont make any difference, it'll fit anyway.

Dudes your going to get my nutz chopped off!!!!:confused:

Its shanies car i just did the conversion with another guy its a easy conversion and i think VE wouldnt be much different just make sure you get ECU and loom!!
if ya need a hand or help with the job get me on msn or icq bud

Shan, whos snake is that anyway? Better on the subs than around the pod...

I am having to wait ages to pay off current loan before doing similar engine upgrade myself. How much difference between output on sr20de and sr20det and sr16ve? I know the ve has a different setup but not much more than that at all. At least I have time to plan it out eh...
