Guys&girls...
any info on what difference a sway bar makes to the handeling of the car... does it slow it down any? Is it best fitted on a lowerd car or a car with fatter tyres? At the moment my N15 has completely stock suspension and tyres and consequently rolls a little around sharp corners... I was thinking of lowering it about 1 3/4 and putting in a sway bar to improve the setup.
Where is a good place to get a sway bar installed in Bris and how much for a good one?
Cheers, :)

You might find this article (http://www.whiteline.com.au/articles/RH99an_N15a.htm) on the Whiteline website interesting.

A few of us here have done this mod ourselves (me,Spectrix), and it makes a noticable difference to the cornering/handling.
I bought the whiteline sway bar anfd fitted it myself (as did Spectrix with the great instructions:rolleyes:  ) it very easy to install.
My car was already lowered when i fitted it and 17 inch 215/40 tyres.
If you're going to buy one try www.autospeed.com.au they were cheaper than Whiteline itself (go figure).

Pm me if theres anything else u want to know.

I spoke to Adrian at Adrian Moore Suspension in Gladesville today and he said fitting a rear sway bar will give the hatch alot more rear drift in hard corners. Lift off over steer ...trail braking etc etc YUUUUUUMMMMMMMM!!!!

LOVE IT

I can second that hehehe
Its neutral drift really..

And damn those instructions.. they really did suck. :thwap: whiteline.

Ask me or tim when you go to put it on.
And definatley get your suspension done.. it makes a HUGE difference.
Also think about fitting your rims with good 205/50/15 tyres they are rad for handling. No improvement by fitting 17s (same tyre and width.. ) just more bumps :bounce:

edit... 17s add to the looks 1000 times over though :p
