Hi,

I've noticed a lot of people wondering about mods for there n16 the most basic for n14/15 owners is crank the timing.. i'm not sure if anyone knows this but a nissan workshop can advance the timing on the qg's using the consult-II tool...
Have used the function myself but haven't tried it for performance testing, can't see why there wouldn't be power to be gained?
All you need to do is find a dealership that is keen to help

Other then that i've seen the usual filters and exhausts and someone had a unichip sticker?

Hope i've shed a bit of light

If you listen really closely ...ohh hang .... shhh ..... yes ..... there it is ..... way off in the distance ...... yes I am sure that s the sound ..... sound of what I here you say ....... so many Pulsar engine detonating after their owners advanced the timing wothout consulting the correct advice first.

Just a warning ....see it done and its not pretty .....

I asked the dealers mechanic to up it a bit, Im using 98 ron fuel, and he said its not possible! WTF? Doesnt make sense to me.
And from what Ive read, Unichip doesnt have anything out yet - prob. just a ricey sticker....

The right fuel for the right job and if standard fuel can run timing advanced no ping (i've done it now) use optimax or the alternative and crank it... hey that's what a knock sensor is for...

how many people have their sr20's on 10-20 degrees
done it on ga16's too they are all sensor protected....

believe me it's possible... is that the only dealer u visit?
