Hey guyz,
I havnt posted in yonkers but....
anywayz, "People" (-cough- antrx.com -cough- ) have been tellin me and gettin a bit up tight about it that "they" can beat or thrash off PULSAR N14 SSS'z and SR20DE NX Coupes.
Now on paper a TRX Pintara would be beaten by a N14 SSS, and a R31 Skyline with extractors and zorst vs a SSS N14.
I am alwayz sayin that on paper a SSS N14 would cain a TRX, or R31.
They are alwayz sayin,
"I honestly alwayz beat SSS N14'z, SR20DE NX'z" etc
I beleive them, but some thing is gotta be up there. When they are draggin, ie, the SSS isnt draggin. He's not a good driver etc.
So who of u have dragged these TRX'z R31,z etc?????
I need evidence guyz, stand up for the SR20DE!
R31'z on paper do a 9.3-100kph.
TRX-My bro's with extractors does a 8.7.
SSS N14 does a 8.3 or 8.1 -100kph???? yes? no?
Cheers guyz,:yikes: (both cool smilies) LOL

yeah ''motor'' magazine recorded a 8.5 or very close to that for 0-100 in a n15 SSS
which seems about right

Hey man,
I have an sr20de powered pulsar with H/D clutch, 2" cat back mandrel bent exhaust, Finer pod filter with cold air intake, Iridum plugs and advanced timing.
I also have an rb30e powered skyline auto, std apart from plugs, filter box mods and advanced timing.
The pulsar is much quicker than the skyline.
I have some extractors for the skyline and will soon be doing the whole exhaust, so I'll see how they compare then.
I've also raced my mate's silhouette skyline and beat it convincingly, about 2-3 car lengths at about 130kmh.

hey all
my mate who has a r31 runs a 15.8 on slipping clutch he has a full zorst 2.5", extractors, intake and we ran a TRX in his car with full bolt on mods ie zorst exractors intake etc and beat it so....
i have also recently and a run with my mates r31 in my stock N14 Q sr20 and it only just got me off the line but i was pulling closer to it up top and all i have is a pod, btw this was only to 100 and he was a car length infront
this either means the SSS driver was asleep or not racing

Have a N14 SR20Q and took an R31, he got the better start but from about 6000 2nd gear I reeled him in and was 2-3 car lengths ahead by 150km/hr.

kris is at the core of it here cos the DE makes full power (104.5KW) @ 6500RPM and is particularly lazy (read useless!) >3000RPM.
TRX & R31 would easily beat us if we didn't use our engines high in the rev range or if we were afraid to punch the floor. if we were lazy or sloppy on gear changes, they'd get some ground on us while we work our way up to 3500RPM on first through second. many drivers get wet pants if they breach the 4500RPM mark.
the answer prolly lies here somewhere. of course these are 'stock' references - modify this or that and the equation would doubtlessly change.
one other factor is that,
R31s are the RX Imprezas of the skyline world.
TRXs look great with roof racks and baby seats.
