Hey,
I am so sick of cleaning my wheels of the black brake dust every time i wash my car. It makes the wheels look so shit when it has all the black crap on it. As i will be up for a set of pads in the not to distant future can anyone recomment some bads that dont dust as badly as the stock ones, but also have good stopping power, i am not heavy on the brakes (compression is your friend and it sounds good too) but still like to know they will be there when neeeded :) Anyway any advice would be greatly appreciated, they are for an n15 2k sss
cheers,
Nathan

Try BENDIX ULIMATE brake pads. I use these on my Silvia and R33.

I have bendix ultimates and i would not call them dustless by any means. I agree they are great brake pads but they do leave a lot of dust. Try EBC "green stuff" pads as having low dust out put is there claim to fame and they seem to have they same resistance to fade as the bendix ultimates.

Had a pair of EBC Green stuff pads for my old SX corolla and while there was a reduction in the dust it was certainly not dust free. Was also led to believe they would last about twice as long as regular Bendix that was definitely not the case.

Changed the front pads on my N15 about 2 weeks ago for standard Bendix ones. They certainly don't appear to put out as much dust as the standard ones (but like yourself I'm not particularly hard on the brakes). I'm not sure how they compare to the Ultimates or Green Stuff. For about the same price as standard pads (cost me about $170 fitted) they're worth a look.

Have a think about the EBC green stuff's mate. I had them fitted (3 weeks ago for $200) to the front and I gotta say I'm happy mate! I had Bendix Ultimates on there before and I gotta say I was happy with the ultimates as they offer great bite from a breaking point of view for the street. I would have got them again and again. The EBC's are true to their wording as having low brake dust. Anyways from a performance point of view I reckon they are the best of both worlds as now I get what I consider to be similar braking characteristics of the Ultimates but without the dust. I guess at the end of the day aren't all pads going to give off some sought of brake dust?
cheers,
Lance
