Go for something with good flow.. 3" mandrel bent preferably. The turbo itself does a pretty good job of muffling exhaust sound but you'll still need a good resonator or two to keep it legal and avoid droning noises.
Boost contollers.. depends what you want to spend. The cheapest method (apart from sealing and redrilling the actuator inlet) is a bleed valve - under $100... though they tend to surge sometimes. Electronic moduals are safer but more expensive.
Buy a boost gauge before you do any mods and keep a carefull eye on it when you're testing new equipment.

if u can afford it... 3inch dumped straight off the turbo..mandrel bent...
with a highflow cat, resonator and straight thru muffler (drift) style..this should give u more power and should increase boost a fraction..
with the boost controller...i like turbosmart...depends on how much money u have with these.. i like the incar adjustable ones..
