N15 does 14.3 @ creek

A mate of mine just rang me to say that a grey N15 SSS with a bolt on T28 turbo running 8psi boost on street tyres just ran a 14.3 at Eastern Creek tonight. He has a FMIC but everything else is stock. 135kW@wheels.

i know of a guy who bolted a very small saab turbo on to his n15 sss.. went very hard he said.. but low boost application only.. he could supply parts for a similar setup for around $1k i think

if you are serious about it i could put you in contact with him.

Im shooting for shanies car to run 14.4-14.5 before turbo and gas im not saying exactly what im doing but it will all be available to do at my shop and we're not touching the bottom end only head and bolt ons

shooting for approx 120kw @ the wheels if not a bit more but id rather shoot low then surprise then shoot high and be doubted! if you know what i mean??

either way 14.3 aint bad but 8psi into a non turbo engine will always make more power than 8psi in a turbo engine!! cause he has the compression there for big power if they can eliminate the detonation problems but at 8psi there shouldnt be much detonation if you back the timing off a little

are you guys mad,, 14.3 is damn good!!!! in a car tat is pretty fat like the n15 he sould be very happy with his time.

yeah im gonna save and look into it next year dan!!!

and no i don't want turbo...to many insurance hassels and price is wayyyy to much...

plus if i wanted to turbo id go s14...rex etc.

i wanna keep up or beat the guy next to me in his turbo/v8 and then when we pull up ot the next set of lights and he goes whats in that...i just say a 4 cylinder...

even if he does beat me 14.5 is damm quick for an na 2ltr..

just a thought!!
