hey guys....
and before you go WTF...NO i didn't race an R33 or a Vti-R.... yet! i'm just wondering how my nx would go against these two cars. my friend just bought an auto non-turbo R33 (insurance and parental reasons) and there's a prick in my uni that thinks he's 'all that' because him mummy bought him a prelude - in tiptronic (aka manual for wimps!).
the skyline is just a friendly race, but i really want to chop that prelude
the skyline has a pod filter (app 140kw stock)
the prelude has a rice cannon, plus monster and i mean MONSTER tacho (app 147kw stock)
i have a stock as a rock car with a fairly worn clutch :bawlink:
so how do you think i'll go??

Well, i went up against an R33 Non turbo Auto Skyline a while back and i beat him in my N14 SR20, that was before i started Modding it aswell.
As for the prelude i cant really say, i havent been up against one.

haha C_McCabe, no i go to Macarthur! the way this guy acts i'd be surprised he even has friends. trust me he's 1st class d!ck :thwap:
i'm pretty sure i could take on the skyline, but i think i'll wait till i get my full exhaust until i try the prelude, which is no time soon... no ching-ching :bawlink:

What car do you have?
Based on a 92 N14 SR20, depending on how you drive, you should put up a good challenge.
Power to weight for Pulsar is 10.39kg:1kw
Power to weight for Prelude is 9.08kg:1kw
Hopefully he has bigger wheels, stero etc to add some more weight.
If you get a good start (no bogging or too much wheelspin) you should go reasonably well. Don't think you would beat him though, he can't really stuff up driving a semi auto.
I raced a 2000 Civic Vti-r 9.44kg:1kw and beat it. My Q is lightly modded though.

ahhh sweet :) Didnt think it would be him ...
Good old UWS hey? What are you doing out there?
I'd agree with you ... the Skyline shouldn't be a problem (too much weight) but those Preludes are pretty quick ... good luck anyway.

i raced my mates r33 non turbo auto and we were side by side all they way.
i was pretty happy about that. i have, however been beaten by a few manual vti-r civics and integras.
race him and find out! just don't race for money or pink slips :)

I've been beaten (just) by a manual VTiR Prelude, but it wasn't nearly as embarrassing as being totally rogered by a middle aged lady in an auto Volvo T5. I could even hear her OEM blow off valve realesing little puffs of air on upchanges.
:bawlink:
she kicked my butt.
