What car would you buy

I was looking through the Motor mag and it struck me that there doesn't appear to be a natural successor to the Pulsar SSS. What car would you be buying if your Pulsar got written off tommorrow??

My choice would probably be either an Astra SRi or a Mazda SP20, but neither car are as good as a SSS.

If I had the money, I'd be buying a $1000 Telstar and waiting until the rumoured N17 SSS appeared at my local Nissan Dealership.

...someone was saying that its 'spose to have a 2.4 VE motor in it?!

I took a test drive of a Mazda SP20 and though it was very refined and handled well, the engine was awful. I was waiting for the power to kick in ... and nothing happened.. and it kept not happening all the way to the redline. Would be great with a turbo though.
The new Honda Integra (non v-tech) was the same.

New s15 200sx, new WRX wagon, new SS Ute all in silver ;) but unfortunately the ute will have to be black as silver is unavalable from the general (yes I know its a push rod and pretty slow)

I would get a Proton Satria GTI and chuck evo running gear in it. Or get that new Alpha Romeo hatch put a serious kit on it and get it turbo charged. :D Thats cars that don't look fast but otherwise i would get an S15, S2000, RX7 or GTR Vspec :p

If i crashed my SSS id go and buy a Mazda R100 Coupe and spend the rest of the money i have on making it go Stupidly quick.
Or i would buy an Audi or Merc and whack huge rims on it.

Fellas,

My dream car would have to be a RX7 Series 6, or R32 GTR. Affordable cars would have to be another N14 SSS, Sprinter or a Corolla GTi. Others on a wish list include a Legacy GT Wagon, Saab Viggen, new Type R Integra (without bodykit), Sierra Cosworth to name a few....

whats so bad bout the n16's styling ???? looks pretty good i reckon .. specially with a spoiler and the 'light body kit'...is it that bad ?!
