hey guys and gals!
Just popping in to ask if you Tasweeegians were a social bunch or not?
the Lovely Loretta and I will be flying from Perth To Hobart ( then up to Launceston ) and just wanted to see if the TASSIE crew were up for meet or not? Maybe a little mini cruise then off to a local Drinking establishment?

I hear Hobart has plenty of kick ass places to drink Sean mate. I hear they have some good restaurants too. Lucky buggers wish I was going :(

yeah.. lotty and I had a thing for vodka lime and lemonade.. so we went into a local .. asked if they had fresh lime.. tehy said NO .. so the ever prepared sean whips a lime ( that we bought at a green grocer up the road ) and gave it to the barman !

there ARE lots of good places to eat and drink in tas.. hopefully we will be able to catch up with a few of the local members.

Awesome cheers man - I think we are over there from the 22nd October til the 5th November but not 100% positive... I actually come from WA u see and haven't seen my family for about 8 years...

I am heading to the airport this afternoon .. so we arrive in Hobart on Thursday afternoon .. my mobile number is 0419916324 if anyone wants to meet up for a casual drink somewhere. I dont think a cruise would be practical as its a bit late notice. someone drop me a line and we can arrange some fine hobart hospitality. We will also be going to Launceston
I wont have any net access most likely so mobiles the way to go .

hey guys, instead of making another thread I thought i might just hijack this one...i'm coming over to Tassie in early Feb for about a week. We've got an athletics comp over there. hows ur pub scene as there will be a whole heap of us overthere. Also does anybody know what ur athletics track is like?

lol yeh might wanan narrow it down a bit, the state aint that small tho it dont really matter where u are theres always heaps of pubs about lol
