Is it instant, like 'instant messenger?????????.

Just that i sent some pm and no reply, or maybe noone likes me/loves me :gay: :gay: :gay: :gay: :D :D hahahahahahhahaha

i think it is that some people may have it switched off if possible ?
But otherwise if you send them a pm and they usually wont see it until the next time they refresh the main page or logon again. ? btw you can track your private messages to see if they have been read. User CP > private messages > pm tracking.

Tim.. the instant message thing isnt that instant. It might rock up in your private message folder but how would you know its there? I have the the bit turned on that emails me about private messages now, that helps. Now I don't look so :silly: for replying to private messages 3 weeks late.

Tonight I got an email about your private message (which said you'd emailed me hahah) but I didn't about it when you sent it even though i was surfing the forum, cause outlook wasn't open.
Did that make sense? What? :vomit:

the closest thing we have to "instant" messaging is the icq links some people have.. you will need to install icq for that to work tho.

the private messages are *sent* instantly, but the receipient will not know that they have received it until they visit the board or receive an email saying they have a message (which they have to configure - it is off by default)
