Yes but the proportion between me (1 person) and hundreds of Sydney members is pretty big - therefore I don't affect the dynamic of the group - we're still trying to get the tassie section off the ground so it would really be appreciated if we were allowed to do so...

PGA isn't a car club, its a forum for people who have pulsars.

forum.pulsar.org.au is a forum for the Pulsar Group of Australia which is a group of people Australia-wide who have decided to join to exchange ideas/experience and also enjoy the social aspect - this social aspect has created a bunch of separate "clubs" if you will - separated mostly by state borders...

I think the attitude seems to be developing here in Tassie that because we have Ricky Ponting, Betta milk and Boags beer that we are too "special" to be considered part of Australia - I think this is bollocks and quite frankly it's conceited, ignorant and nepotistic... Every other state seems to get along just fine with the concept of flying the PGA flag - what makes us any different?

All this aside, I don't see why we all - as Tasmanian members of PGA - can't still have cruises and events under the PGA banner without someone getting offended... I mean I really want to understand what the core issues are here but I'm clutching at straws to work it out...

never will be involved Im ont one to be in more than 1 club at a time. I am not a member or pulsemania, nissanexa, velocity, boostcruising, scc or any other group i just post on some of their sites where i can post. i prefer not to be associated with this site cos basically if it aint a N13(preferably N14) upwards people arent interested. Ive been signed up on this site for a number of years (had to get new sign in cos i gave up on it a few years back) but i wouldnt call myself a member, not tryin to be a prick just dont want people thinkin im with a group only to find out on the day im not and get upset. I think its fair there is no conflict of interest then thats why i dropped out as moderator or pulsemania, if ya gunna be a mod stick to 1 forum

No, it isn't permanent. There's like a 2 week order for more, but has affected most of Tassies BP stations supply of it.

Hmmm yes but my bills cripple me... My job should be costing around $1100 for front bar, rear bar, wing, hatch (inc. welding), grille and skirts/pods :D I would be struggling to do it cheaper with a mate's compressor...

That paint is rubbish man! It reacts with every other type of paint, never fully cures, and cracks/peels within months...

ripped me off $$$$, I have spoken to the member, and he is claiming to get me the dollars back, and he is going to chase the parts up with Aust Post. When he has them, he is going to notify me. If he sends them, when he has and I have them, I will pay then... But lets see if I get my dollars back..

All's quiet in Lonni tonight. Went for a drive down to the Tasman Penninsula yesterday - gave the old N15 a bit of a run after weeks of daily driving to/from work.

I should take my car out for a bit of run one day soon. I haven't driven it for over a fortnight, its just been sitting on my nature strip gathering cobwebs and bird shite. I ride my pushy everywhere nowdays and I don't actually need a car unless I travel to a different town.

Dave might not be online very much, but he's still about. Got a text from him the other day after he spotted me around town. I haven't seen his Pulsar about for a while now tho - shame because it looks awesome with all the Langley stuff on it!
