Hi everyone, just found this site with luck it's great to see so many proud pulsar owners.
My question is, I own a 92 bluish/grey n14 q (2.0ltre of course)
I was wondering what cost am I looking at to upgrade my exhaust, nothing to extravagant but just so its a bit louder.
while I'm at it I was also wondering where I can get hold of "sss" stickers to place on my car, I live in Perth.
Kind Regards

Welcome Glen!
I'm not full bottle on the stickers but us Perthies are cruising soon so it could be possible for everyone to get some made up for the occasion!

Yes that was my second option to get them made, if I could not find them to buy.
I'll definetly have to get it sorted before we have a cruise though, when might this be happening?

If you wan't to go through the effort of making some monagrammed SSS Stickers, I reckon Monogrammed Q stickers would be a better investment. If you make some of these up for me, I'll buy you some Genuine SSS stickers, if you like...

I was thinking about getting some nice, Q stickers however havn't found any really terrific ones, thats why I though I could just get some SSS stickers which dont look to bad.
on a different topic does anyone have any recommendations of where I should get my exhaust done?

no recomendations on where to get your exhaust done as i'm from the other side of aus, however i'd recomend going for a 2" or 2.5" press-bent mild-steel system with a strait-thru stainless muffler (or mild steel if you're on a budget). you'll most likely need an 18" resonator to take the 'spitting' noise out of the sound.. for a mild-steel 2" system with a mild steel 2" strait thru muffler and a basic tip and an 18" resonator expect to pay $250-300.
if you want to upgrade the cat, going to a 2.5" system will allow to use the cat off an ecotec v6 commodore which can be had rather cheaply.

thanks for that dan,
have you upgraded your exhaust, if so have you noticed much difference to your fuel economy, the reason I ask is that I actually do alot of travelling and may have to take this into account, although it proably wont change my decision.
The same with Air Filters has anyone upgrade their air filter, I was thinking about it but my mate upgraded the air filter on his wrx and found it made little/no difference to performance but a large difference to his fuel efficiency (made it worse)

RE: stickers.... There have been some official "Pulsar owners club" stickers made up by Exodus design here in brissie. I'm sure if you give Shane a call he can give you some ideas of making up some stickers for you 0403 858 616.

i have the same www.pulsar.org.au sticker on my car..
i think those SSS's look great, but I also want the group to appeal to other pulsar owners aswell, not just SSS owners. (dont get me wrong, i'm NOT saying Monty has done anything wrong, it looks awesome!)

You used the search function!
This looks like one of the original threads on these forums...
I think if you look in Site Discussion there are some more recent sticker discussions. Alternatively, go to the Tassie section. There will be someone there who deals with the stickers (hopefully).
Cheers
