I'm also taking my SSS to Wakefield Park this Friday.
I'm not worried if it rains or not - it'll only make it more fun!
I'm also offering to take my spare set of 15s with worn-out semi-slicks (so they're more like slicks now) to suit any car with a 4x100 (pulsar :) ) stud pattern.
If anyone is interested in coming to watch (free for specatators) then you will have to call me to find out the meeting time and place, as I wont be reading any replies to this message after tonight.
If you're taking your car onto the track you'll need about $100 all up for the yearly licence ($25) and use of the track ($75 approx). You can hire a helmet for $50 if you don't already have one and they might also require you to wear long sleeves and pants (as if you wouldn't anyway as it's freezing in Goulburn already!)
They also scrutineer the cars and make sure things like batteries are tight and spare tyre is removed as well as all other loose items. There are pits/garages on site to store stuff (out of the rain, too). It's not security storage but I've never had anything stolen from there (nor do I know of anyone else having stuff stolen)
It'll be a very early departure from Sydney - 6AM at the latest.
Lap time for me to beat this time is 1:17 - now that I have fitted the adjustable rear sway bar...
