Ive had a ton of emails with interest about a cruise on Monday, but there are a couple of limiting factors:

1) Some people have to get back early afternoon/evening, and
2) We dont want to be competeing with holiday traffic.

Keeping these things in mind please post some suggestions for a cruise start/route/destination.

Peoples,

I have been in discussions with a few people and looks like most are happy with a Northern Beaches cruise. Tim (SSSXTC) is organising the route details. I suggest that the southerners meet at Auburn McDonalds or Homebush Olympic Park Carpark (same as the Sunday night meeting spot) as a 1st meeting spot. We can then cruise together to the Epping Mobil on Beecroft Rd. From there we can all meet up where Tim decides is best. Any feedback?

Ok everyone!

This is the "Itinerary" for Monday Cruise. If there
are any complaints please tell me and i will try to
change things.

I will try to print what is below out and hand it
around on the day. Makes it easier if everyone knows
where we are going and i will put a few contact mobile
numbers too! Also if u have 2-way radio's please
bring them.

1st Meeting point:
- Homebush Bay Carpark - Leave 11:30am (Carpark next
to Homebush Station where monthly meet is)

- Follow Homebush Bay Drive and Ryde Rd down to Epping
Rd. Turn RIGHT onto Epping Rd.

2nd Meeting point:
- Approx. 100m down Epping Rd is a Mobil Service
Station on the left. Meet here by 12:00pm.

- Back onto Ryde Rd and down Mona Vale Rd to Terrey
Hills turn off (McCarrs Creek Rd) on the left.

1st Stop:
- Follow McCarrs Creek Rd to Bayview and turn left
into Carpark. (if busy due to Public Holiday will
proceed to Mona Vale Beach Carpark)

- Leave Bayview and follow Pittwater Rd and turn left
onto Barrenjoey Rd. Follow Barrenjoey Rd to Palm
Beach. (via Biglola Bends)

2nd Stop:
- Turn left at Golf Course and go to far North
Carpark.

- Proceed around to main Palm Beach and turn RIGHT
into Ocean Place and LEFT into Whale Beach Rd. Follow
Whale Beach Rd all the way to Avalon.

- Head back to Mona Vale along Barrenjoey Rd. (People
who want to leave via Mona Vale Rd leave now)

- For people staying or wanting to leave via the city,
follow Pittwater Rd then RIGHT onto Wakehurst Parkway
and proceed all the way to Seaforth. (People who want
to leave via Manly Rd to the city leave now)

- Follow Sydney Rd to the bottom and turn RIGHT at
lights. Follow and LEFT into East Esplanade. LEFT
into Ashburner St. RIGHT into Darley Rd. RIGHT into
Scenic Drive. Follow Scenic Drive all the way to where
the road loops around.

3rd Stop:
- Pull into Carpark at the Point where the road loops.

- Follow back down to Manly. Can cruise through main
street of Manly then everyone leave for home.


It is approx. 2 1/2 hours driving and allow 1 1/2 for
stops.

So finish time is approx. 4:00pm which means everyone
will be home before dark...hopefully!

Hey guys, i live on McCarrs Creek Rd so could I meet up with you at Bayview or Mona Vale Beach, or does my car have to be modified? I just bought 1990 N13...no mods yet apart from a 3 1/2 muffler...im just waiting on more funds for the wheels and ride height and a good stereo is on its way...

That was me, I was following someone in a sss with the sticker on the back they said they weren't going on the cruise.

Monty rang me and i turned around and went back the other way and met up with every it was all good.

No one was following me so No one got lost that way so thats not a problem.

Thank you everyone for turning up, we had a total of about 25 cars (?), and thanks to Tim (SSSXTC) for organising the route through the northern beaches. There were lots of pictures taken and they will all be posted soon. Anyone who has some photos please email them to me mversi@bigpond.net.au so I can package them up and forward to Danny (Splash) and he can post them on the main pulsar.org.au site. Hope to see you all again on our next planned cruise to Bathurst on 23rd June.
