Buying a new head

Its time to get a new head for my stereo and i want a JVC one. Now it is a toss up between the KD-SX985 MP3 or the KD-SX885.
Now the KD-SX985 MP3 has some extra features like the gold plated terminals, i need to know how beneficial these would be in running the head just with 6.5" speakers in the front and 6 x 9" in the back not taking expansion into consideration ie. inclusion of an amp or subs. It also has 4v output....what is this who can tell me? the KD-SX885's specs dosen't mention this what would it have? I am not too keen on the MP3 player but i was just wondering whether these features make the head alot better running it under my circumstances or should i just stick with the KD-SX885. I have found the JVC site and local stereo shops quite good but i was hoping to get some better information from any of you guys.

If ur not intending to upgrade, don't bother with the 985, gold plated terminals wont do much, and the 4V preouts ONLY count when ur using amps, and you won't be, so u dont even need any preouts... The 885 would have 2V... So get the 885, and save the $$$
