Got sick of going all thw ayt to hobart just to cruise..bout time you came up here.

Cruise from Launnie to sideling lookout for a BBQ. Then back to Launnie

The road there is great and IMHO, the best i've driven on. If you like up and down hill cornering you'll be in heaven.

About 40km out of launnie, so its about 35 minutes drive from launnie CBD.
I guess we'd meet at Hungry jacks again, big carpark and everyone knows where it is ;)

The trip to Lake St.Clair was a bit scrapy on the wheels and that was with just Phill in the back. I like to fang it on this road, and can't do that if the wheels are scraping.
The BBQ is under the shelter so it wont matter if it snows a little bit too. :P


I rekon we'll make it the Saturday, some people would be working on the Friday and it will be best done at a lunch time. I'll make it; meet at hungry Jacks in West Launnie at about 11am and head off and 11:30am to 12pm ish. That way people wont be starving and wanto have lunch as soon as we get there. Theres heaps of grass space there if anyone wants to bring a footie, and if you don't like BBQ food or just CBF cooking you can buy greese food fron Nunamara which is about half way.

You can organise a meeting point for southern people Jed, I dunno how long it takes to get from hobart to launnie, so yea, i'll leave that to you.

Sorry for being so inconvenient. If you take the map with you its a pretty simple drive. Great road.
