Im not a tassie resident, but have dealt with a few of the members from there (good and bad).
Names Dutch (its my full-time nickname all my mates know me by), I drive a N13, currently in crap-spec. Been down there a bit, but its too cold for me, I am actually a resident of Bris-vegas.
Mods on my car include a full Kicker sound-system, alpine head unit, 2" cat back exhaust. I ave in my posession a SR that is getting rebuilt, coilover are purchased and on route to me atm, got some GTi-R front brakes, just need to sort rims out so I can fit them (they don't fit behind 13" steelies)... After all this is done, I am going nuts on the exterior, and maybe a new interior (mines s***y brown atm)....
Don't hate me cause I am a Qld'er

I haven't heard any news of anyone being charged with the crime yet. The cop that came and took a stat dec from me hardly looked at the tyres and wheels. I'm sure there was a couple of fingerprints they could've taken as evidence. That would've made the chance of someone being caught much more likely.
It would be nice if the offender was made to repay all damages. He/she would be in debt quite a few thou.
I might sell my wheels rather then get two new tyres, my stockies are still in good cond.

i highly don't approve of autocraft doin work owesan, i know one of the ex mechanics who worked there and his been tellin me stories how you can by the parts outside of autocraft and have them installed by another workshop and still beat autocrafts price on just parts. and personal experience tells me the same! autocraft qouted me almost $800 for KYB shocks when i can get them from GCCorp for just over $300 landed and installed for another $180 where as autocraft wanted almost $1200 all up

Theres a couple of these n15s too.
Gday, the names John. Thought it might be time to get in on this forum.
This is mine, a 95 series 1. Sounds old but only done 70K so its actually pretty fresh.
Saw it one sitting in Jacksons in March and bought it that day, a week before i was gonna fly over to Melbourne to buy one!
Its better than i expected, to think i was originally gonna buy a Magna! I'll put some more (daylight) pics up soon when i get my Mags on it.
Cheers.

bleh...n14Q's are the lightest of the pulsars with 2.0L dave...you and all that fancy electric windows and stuff...
It's good to know what you're comparing to isn't it - N14 aussie spec SSS's didn't have electrics and N15 SSS's are lighter than ALL N14 2.0L's... Just because your car is the best in the world doesn't inherently mean you can make up gross generalisations off the top of your head about all the others...

Like i said on my post earlier, i wasn't sure of the engine mods other than the pod filter that I had installed. But it does a way quicker 0-100 than the book says. I like my pulsar how it is. I would have thought a Q was lighter.
d-Z1R3
25th August 2007, 10:18 PM
how much quicker does it go compared to the book, coz mine does 0-100 is 8.5secs. which is abit quicker than the book and i have extractors, exhaust, CAI, timing advancing and a few other things!
DevSSS
28th August 2007, 12:43 PM
I'll have a crack one day and see how much quicker it goes. I know its is less than 9 tho.
d-Z1R3
29th August 2007, 03:04 PM
but you must also take into account that the book isn't correct in most cases with ratings. and it really depends on the driver.
i am sure someone who is useto the car would do a quicker time that some test driver!

Ok well congrats on that statistic man but I think 1kg is a small price to pay for electric windows, velour sports seats, air conditioning, airbag, ABS, CD player, exhaust tip, remote central locking, leather steering wheel, gear knob & handbrake, better looks, wider track, longer wheelbase, lower roofline, 15" rims - do I need to continue?? This conversation is ridiculous... It's like saying a mini is better than an R34 GTR because it's lighter - blind freddy can see its not the case...
J3D
19th September 2007, 02:22 PM
he dont knock the mini i recon they would out corner an r34 :)
air con is anorther 20 kg on top of the weight but who cares there both pulsars so they both rock ne way n15 is better for people that like n15 n 14 better for people who like n 14 when it comes to it there very even when it comes to performance n handling ne ways
