I have owned 2 n14 pulsars, both 92 models, a gli and my current 2L Q. In both cars the interior door upholsterywas bubbling off. My guess is that the glue gives up after a few years. The guys at Moorooka Nissan reckon that its a common fault with all N14s. When I was buying my Q, every car I looked at had some evidence of the lining coming away. I had mine redone at a vehicle upholsterer for about $30 a door, now they look like new.
this got me thinking, and I came up with these questions....
Has anyone else noticed the same prob?
Does the SSS have the same problem?
Does the N15 have this problem?
The GTiR in Grand Turismo 2 goes a lot better than my N14...why?

My N14 Q also has this problem in the drivers door. The Passenger door lining had been replaced a few years ago when the previous Owners vomitted in the map pocket whilst being driven home after a good party.
Regarding the GTiR and the N14 in GT2, I'm not a GT2 expert, but my brother is. I thing it might have something to do with;
a) The GTiR being 4WD
b) The GTiR being a 2-door (and lighter)
c) The GTiR being more expensive, so Nissan payed the Authors to make the GTiR perform disproportionatly better, so They could sell more of the more expensive cars.
These are just theories...

as far as i know its only a problem with the Aus-spec N14's. The Jap-specs have a higher quality trim and it doesnt seem to bubble off like the aussie ones.

I have the same problem with both my N14's
Also having problems with the plastic d00r handle, its broken off on the SSS, so I un-done the d00r handles off the 1.6Gli and used them.
:devil:
For $30 a d00r to make them look like new, Please give me the details and the sh0p name.
