yep, we're working on a comparison page as you speak.. should be up rather shortly.
basically the differences are alloys, bodykit, and bigger brakes.

yeah the differences...lets see..
the SSS has that huge ugly rear spoiler - the Q has the subtle yet functional rear spoiler.
the SSS has those damn heavy brakes - the Q has the lighter yet functional brakes.
the SSS has the bigger front bar that scrapes on parking barriers at Hungry Jacks - the Q has the smaller yet functional standard front bar.
the SSS has all that ugly leather stuff - the Q has functional, hard wearing plastic.
there is also driving lights, ABS, a firmer ride, maybe a sunroof and some uncomfortable seats...all totally unnecessary.
....oh yeah, insurances premiums are a bit different too. :P
P.S. I'd still give my right testicle to have one.....

I think you'll find your N14Q has cushy suspension plus wee little brakes and wheels. Oh yeah.. the n14 SSS does too heheheheh

Basically its about 100 kilos lighter thanks to removal of bodykits etc. Insuracne as someone has said is a lot better, plus your Q is less likely to be stolen compared to a SSS.
Spending a bit of money on a good suspension setup will dramatically improve handling, and a good set of 4-2-1 extractors, 2inch exhaust will noticeably improve pickup.
After racing a few friends in my Q (with suspension and big heavy mags, apart form that stock) and their stock SSS, its pretty much neck and neck on straights, corners i leave them for dead, obviously expected.)
I personally went for a 2L Q becuase of the reasons outlined up the top, and the fact that my mate was selling it with a 10thou k engine, gearbox, strut tower, cv joint for 8 grand. pretty hard to pass up :P There are times when i think the front bar and spoiler add a lot to the looks, but I bought it to hammer along tight country roads etc, not to posture with, so I dont really mind (even though its got some chunky mags on it that are probably slowing takeoffs) The 215/40ZR17 rubber is worth every overpriced cent on those twisty sections :P

OI FAHOOTIE!!! Geeeee we cant tell who owns a Q can we?? ;)
The Q can be more of a sleeper.... if you get a 2.0L (I didn't know they existed till i got proven wrong and totally embarresed), so that could be an option??? depends what you want the car for.
i have only ever driven a n15 s1 Q auto and i hate the bloody thing!!!!! its gutless.....
I love my n15 sss so im of biased opinion

sorry i should have been more precise. I was referring to N14 Q and SSS. No idea on the specs of N15s, although my friends SSS's really hammer, so I dont really have a preference there :)

no, ive lined up my mates SSS and mine, same size swaybars front and back (same swaybars on standard models too), only diff was probably the springs? but the 2L Q as far as i can tell was the same apart from a lack of interior goodies and bodykittage.

I liked the n14 Q (sr20de)... rice free sleeper. Just needs some suspension mods and a set of 17s and its brilliant.
Hang on.. do they have power windows? I don't like manual winders..

some came with the power option. main problems with them were the door trims coming off.
