The 2007 Christmas cruise will be the last cruise/event organised by the committee. Due to a gradual reduction in commitment & interest from the current group we have decided formal organisation is no longer required and will be disbanded. From this point on any cruises/meets/events will have to be organised amongst yourselves like the old days. The Perth Pulsar website will remain online indefinately (as long as Net Logistics will host it for free) as its a great place to access all our photos in one place.

Going out in style the Christmas cruise is one of the best of the year usually with a great turnout. We will be holding a FREE BBQ lunch at Garvey Park to conclude this years christmas cruise.

Lets see if we can get more than 6 cars out for this one hey. Would be a nice way of saying thank you to my fellow committee members for the work put in over the years.

its a crying shame that the group has slowly degraded to the level its at today. OH well I had some good times in the club during the heyday..
and I have made some excellent mates out of it .. so all in all its a positive experience. A bit of a shame to see the comittees efforts going to waste due to lack of commitment/enthusiasm from the rest of the group !

Didnt think it was going to come to this... but ah well. The cruises last year inspired me to get into cars and vehicle modification in general because you guys were so encouraging/helpful and i thank you guys for that. Probably see you guys around and i hope i can make this xmas cruise (seeker probably remind me haha).

But overall Thanks for your efforts and i'm sure everyone will think the same.

P.S We still have to do dwellingup that was fun!!!! :P

Both my cars will be out (yuck having to polish 2 cars) - getting a mate to drive the white SSS. Also bringing a friend in his N13.

I remember being nervous as anything when i organised the very first some 5 years ago!! And check it out, its still going! Wahoo.
I'll try my best as always to make it down cause it seems like forever since i last made a cruise. Hell it might even have been the last christmas cruise?:confused:

I wouldnt stress too much about the committee. It has come & gone & come again & gone again a few times. Someone else eventually will want some organisation put in & take it upon themselves. Its the natural progression & what happens with a free, public 'car club'.

In all honesty, my favourite days were the old school days in kings park for midnight runs for those of you who have been around for a while? The were classic. A lucky few will get a sms from me in the near future for a small plan. ;)

But otherwise, make the effort. Get down to the cruise. Show your not just a keyboard net warrior & see the daylight & some minto cars. Who knows, it might spark the next bright seed to point the group in a new direction!

PS. Dont rip on Theo & Little Ceasars. It was a bit of a blue at the time with the price. But the poor fella was under the pump & didnt honestly realise. If you did want it organised again i'd be sure Theo took care of us. He has supported this cruise since day dot. Also whoever said he opened 'exclusively', no he didnt. In previous years, yes he has. But he needs all the time off he can get now-a-days.

We'll be driving the same map as all other years, however except for stopping for pizza we continue until Garvey Park for a BBQ.

The BBQ will be free of charge, meat skewers, sausages & steak rolls. Soft drinks will also be provided (unsure at this stage if they will also be free, may be a cost price associated with this of ~ 50c/can).

I will be catering for ~ 25 people so don't disappoint me. Please consider coming along to the end point everyone.

Notifications/Reminders will go out this weekend as the event is Next Sunday :)

Nice cruise, pity about the small turnout but it was good that the rain stopped before we made it to the first point and it stayed that way.

Also thumbs up to all those who decided to make me feel better after going the wrong way to the first point by doing the same en-mass on the last leg; nice work :thumbsup:
