People

I have been talking to a few of my mates who own tyre outlets (Quickfit Enogerra and Superior Aspley)

They are willing to give you a good deal and beat almost any reasonable price (don't try and bargain them off against each other as they are mates)

I will investigate further but if you need tyres, wheels, springs, shocks then go to these places and ask for the following people

Superior - Kel (Owner)

Quickfit Enogeraa - Scott (Owner) or Jason (Manager) also Scott's brother owns KHOR Motorsports at Bowen Hills and they do modifications, engineering etc (I now have a sticker on the fron of the car from them after some tuning they did for me, added to my rice points) really good blokes and don't speak shit.

Sorry for the long plug but these guys have always done right by me and thought I would share the wealth (well some of it...)

Yah, well, I went into Quickfit Enoggera once to get a price on some Momo rims, the guy looked at me funny and said he would get a price and call me... never did. I suppose he thought I wasn't serious, but I was at the time... nevermind.

Oh yeah I know 'Kel' got my tires off him he's a good guy. Might get some new rim's for the next show.... but might put the money to better use.... HP :eek:

what can I say, rare thing, so do you now have the rims??

I went to school with Kel and have known Scott for years, obviously you spoke to the 'wrong' people at quickfit, there are two sales guys that are about as intelligent as the tyre removal machine....

Hey Neill,

What springs/shocks and other suspension goodies can your mates get? I need to get rid of the 4WD look my car has ASAP.. but cash is tight as always..

Nah, in the end I bought some copies and put the rest of the money elsewhere :P
