Hey
Depends on what youre running it off and how much power they are running and if u also quality front speakers.
Do you have an amp, do you have splits.
Let me know and i'll try give u some ideas.

If anyone wants to put 6x9's in there parcel shelf I already have the holes cut out, I'll do a straight swap for one that has no holes.

hmmm... cardboard parcel shelves and speakers are scarrrrry..
my frien had them in his old celica.... had an accident and the speakers ripped the shelf clear outta its mounts and tonked his passenger in the back of the head....

cardboard.. mdf.. doesnt make much difference in a crash
anyway.. the problem is that the parcel tray actually broke in half in the stack...
this might not happen to you... but consider running two stiff metal strips or something under the tray for a bit of strengthening....

Hey
no amps no problem, so you run them off the rear channels of you're deck. Just one thing to remember is to check the wattage of you're 6x9's as most decks will only put out around 40w per channel....this may not be enough power(they will distort when u crank them up) to run them..u may need a small 2 channel amp
ok

personally I think instead of going to the trouble/expense of mounting 6x9s in your parcel shelf you should put the money into getting some really good front speakers..
but, I've said that a million times before and people always wanna argue with me :bawlink:

I can't agree with you more! Go the front splits and Subs. If you still want rear speakers then worry bout that last.
