Perth Street Scene: Charity Event 9th Nov

Hey all,

Just letting you know about an up coming show'n'shine I have organised for the 9th of November at Perry Lakes. All funds raised goes to St Barts homeless shelter for men in Perth.

The show is welcome to any car, bike, hovercraft and spectators.

On the day there will be a free BBQ for competitors (small price for spectators) as well as 20 trophies and prizes to be won. Prizes range from Pioneer MP3 players supplied and installed, 300C limo tours, toon my car custom A3 framed posters, chroming vouchers and a bucket load more!

Also for some added entertainment we have 5 live bands and 2 DJ's playing all day along with a Wii/Xbox/PS3 corner.

So spread the word! come one come all! Its turning out to be a mint day with over 70+ cars registered in the 1st week alone!

Crikey, if ever there was a stab to the gut, there it is.

As said above, a car show isn't to everyone's taste - I have a strange feeling that most people are going there to see the older muscle such as Mustangs and V8's, and all that trev stuff, not some little 4-banger with a huge stereo and some shiny wheels (and I'm not singling out anyones car either, just a general comment).

If the people here can't be arsed entering, so be it, doesn't mean you have to harp on about it and call everyone fat slobs who sit on computers all day.

this show is open to all.. plenty of imports and a like entering as well as the 300C limos, swat van limo, Aston Martins and Porsches.

The show is also not just show'n'shine.. we have raffles going off every hour as well as 5 live bands and 2 dnb DJs playing..
