Hey guys,

as anyone heard of hi-fonics subwoofers? a guy from work wants to swap me a 12 inch dual voice coil (not sure about the model) for my 10 inch JL sub with box. The sub itself looks very well made. Its one heavy mutha!
Would it be worth swapping as i'm looking for a 12 inch sub for some phat bass.
thanks,

johnny

mate there must be some reason he wants to swap a 12 for a 10!

personally i think you should keep the JL.. or sell it and get a 12inch JL.. JL subs rock :)

hi fonics subs are pretty good when it comes to bass but there is a down side they need a bit of power to get em up and kicking unlike the jl's

anyway theres goota be something wrong with it if he wants to swap for a ten and a box

just be careful ckeck it out and make sure it works (ie. the voice coils arent burnt out)

Cheers
Dicko:thumbsup:

personally i would stick with splash's idea of a jl 12"
