How'd the cruise finish guys??
I just wanted to thank those involved in the organising, I had a great afternoon......
My old man enjoyed alot of flashbacks from younger days.....

Perfect conditions..... Not break downs, no police involvment...

Who lit up the bags at the T intersection??
Hope to meet up again shortly....
Thanks again,

JD:thumbsup:

No problems guys, more than happy to arrange them. Was a great day! Drags were cool (in both senses, 11deg at 8:30). Scored a 15.39sec with wheelspin off the line, but I'm pretty happy with that. OK awards for the day:

Man I'm lost, again: Clay
Crazy Handbrake-Pulling, Sideways, Burnout Machine: Andrew (Red N14)
Boy Racer: Joel's Dad
Damn I knew I should have brought that Pillow: Neill (had to throw that in, hope you foots is OK)
Lets leave without saying Goodbye: Neill again

Thanks heaps for coming and getting me out of a loaner situation again. :D I look forward to the next one. Have a route lined up but should be a Brisbane or Sunshine Coast one next time to be fair. Cheers.

Well I can honestly say that i was pushing my car to its limits!!! So, you must of done that drive a hell of a lot!!!! And its a bit freaky knowing there is a drop of about 50 metres beside you if you go too fast and loose it!!!

Thanks Andrew!! Had a fantastic day! First time I've able to give my baby a proper strapping since I bought her...

I give silver N14 Lauren the tuffest chick of the day award... and Joel's dad Jeff deffinently gets the coolest old dude award. I'm a bit worried to let my old man behind my baby if they all turn out like that... :D

Thanks again guys can't wait for the next one...

If it was a decent Gti-R then yeah good call but I think that is taking it a bit far, people get wooped for even less...

Far enough if all WRX's were driven by mums and dads but a few mods and see ya...

And as for not seeing that many around... open your eyes there I quite a few of late

so far I haven't had any grief from WRX owners, quite a few thumbs up but..

since i had the sticker on the car on the weekend, i have had to remove it, cops pulled me over..

Cut a long story short, the copper was really nice about it - he thought it was very amusing. He wanted me to take them off because, well it blatently rude and some members of the public wouldn't approve.

I took the sticker off to please the coppers, but I asked if I can re-apply the sticker at a later date.

He looked at me wierd, I showed him the spares in the boot and he laughed.

I think 'special' occasions will be the best time for the gti-r to wear its "stripes".

If any WRX owners have a problem with it, take it with a grain of salt - I am just stirring the pot :)

Should you want one of these stickers - I have got a heap made up and they are $5.

Sorry man was just on a mates computer who gets onto the 200sx and wrx forum, and it was on there....

Was only a friendly warning it seems that a few of the boys were not impressed at all...

I have no problem with it, you see all those pissing on Holden/Ford stickers, I think that maybe a word change may be in better taste...

Like "Show us ya rex"

or Pisses on rex's etc etc,
