if i recieved a missed call on my n73, i could then not make any outgoing calls untill i restarted. Sometimes it would randomly get stuck on loud speaker... quite embarressing when your at a client site.

Seriously Worst phone i have ever owned.

That sounds like an isolated issue pyromaniac.

I've also heard people having problems with phones they have bought from 3. Apparantly each company is responsible for the manufacturing of the phones they sell and that 3 uses cheap components.

That's only what I've heard though, maybe there's an expert around here :P .

mine was from optus... and i highly doubt the carriers are required to "oversee" the construction of the phones?!

the way i usually solve problems with any phone is throw it against a brick wall and then buy a new one. Hence i have thrown a motorolla v360, nokia 3310, and a nokia 3100... the phone i currently have is a sony erricson k800i which i give it another year be4 it hits the wall tooo

Signed up today, 16gb black on $79 cap with optus..

Even got a free cheapo samsung phone because they didnt have iPhones in stock

Dont mind waiting the 2 weeks or so until it arrives, amped!

The thing I dont like about the iPhone is that you cant select one of your tracks you upload as a ringtone.

If anyone knows how to do this, feel free to let me know.

N95 8GB doesn't accept additional storage.

i have a N73 and have never had a major problem with it, then again i have never had a major problem with any of my nokia phones ever.

Have had my N73 for almost 2 years now, only thing is sometimes the camera will freeze and i gotta close the slide and open it again other then that its great.

Have a m8 and her N73 keeps dropping out and turning itself off she is with 3 not sure if that makes a difference or not.


Think its the N95 8gig for me then (just means i have to buy yet another version of memory card to fit it grr).

The wife has a Ipod video and all seems well with it so far, except Itunes sux ass.

Yeah its a pretty good phone, mine died a horrible death in a pool of my sweat during bushwalking Went onto an N95 8GB then iphone.

The N95 and N95 8g are perfect sip clients to asterisk for all you sip / voip nerds btw.

No, there are free apps available from app store. Jailbreak is imminent with a number of video demos on the web. I hear maybe tomorrow morning 2am-3am as likely so maybe in 3 hours?
